Dec 10, 1913 - Jul 9, 2015

Age 101 and a half Preceded in death by mother and father, Lilly and Henry Stock. wife Genevieve, siblings Dorothy Stump, Ike Stock, Charlie Stock, Wilma Aue, John Stock, Cliff Stock, Walt Stock, many nieces, nephews and good friends. Survived by son George Stock and wife Eileen; daughter Sally Burns; grandson William Sheldon.

A WWII Army/Airforce Veteran, an avid sports fan, a consummate camping traveler, a proud former member of the Sr. Citizens Band. He was a mechanic, a builder, a handyman, a listener and a gentleman. He played Pinnocle and Pitch, Bridge and Cribbage, and dozens of kitchen table card games, and was good at them. He worked hard every day of his life. Even in retirement he looked forward to having some chores to do so there would be a reason to face the day. He loved his family, he loved his neighbors, and he loved his friends. His quick wit, general knowledge of all things, and his natural tendency to strike up conversations with any stranger in any situation made him so much fun to be around.

He was a survivor of cancer, stroke, third degree burns, and by-pass surgery, not to mention all the home accidents he incurred throughout the years while fixing or building something, including a broken back; but never complained and always got back up on his feet. He was truly an inspiration for living and loving life to its fullest.
