Wednesday's sports TV highlights

NBA /// Brooklyn at Atlanta, 6 p.m., TNT: The Hawks haven't looked like themselves throughout this series, which is tied 2-2 after Brooklyn's overtime win Monday. The Nets — the No. 8 seed with a losing record — haven't been intimidated by Atlanta's All-Star-laden lineup but still need to grab a road win in these playoffs.

NHL /// Detroit at Tampa Bay, 6:30 p.m., NBCSN: There are few things in sports better than Game 7. The Red Wings have already won in Tampa twice in this series, but they'll have to again prove their road prowess to move on. The Lightning had their best regular season in franchise history, so a first-round loss would certainly be a letdown.

NBA /// Portland at Memphis, 8:30 p.m., TNT: Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley missed Game 4 and his status is uncertain. No NBA team has lost a playoff series after going up 3-0, but Conley was a large part of why Memphis won those games. Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph will have to help fill the void.
