Country star Dwight Yoakam is hitting Nebraska twice this year. Yoakam, who plays Grand Island tonight, will return to Nebraska to play Lincoln's Rococo Theatre on April 14.

Yoakam's latest effort, "Second Hand Heart," was his highest charting album in more than 25 years, and it received great acclaim from critics. It ranked No. 7 on The World-Herald's list of the best albums of 2015.

Also of local note: Omaha musician Matt Whipkey has been the opener for more than a dozen of Yoakam's concerts, including three this week. There's no word on whether Whipkey will open the show in Lincoln.

Tickets, $59.50 to $89.50, go on sale today at noon.
