Congrats on signing with the Huskers today. How has your signing day been? Have you done anything special?

Today has been fantastic. I have received a lot of love from the husker fans and i couldn't be any more excited. I will probably go out to dinner with the family to celebrate.

What was it that most sold you on Nebraska?

I think what sold me the most was the family atmosphere between recruits, current players, fans, and coaches.

JD: What player is your role model, either growing up or a current player right now?

One of the players I looked up to on the field was Percy Harvin back when he played for the Gators. A more current player would have to be Tavon Austin, when he played at WVU.

Do you know who you're rooming with? Been talking to any of the other recruits much this winter?

Talked to a lot of the recruits lately especially now that signing day is almost over. I still don't know who I'll room with.

There looks to be a real family atmosphere down in Lincoln. What is your take on the culture of the team and how this 2016 class fits into the family?

There for sure is a family atmosphere in Lincoln everyone not just coaches and teammates but also students and fans. The culture that Lincoln and the team shows is exactly what i was looking for. I also believe that this 2016 class will get along very well and fit in just fine.

Great to have you as a Husker. What type of offense did your high school run? Where do the coaches see you most contributing as a receiver? Slot or spread wide?

My high school team ran a power offense. Really old school. So coming to Nebraska  will be a huge difference but i feel like i will most contribute out of the slot.

How did you ultimately come to choose football over lacrosse?

Football has always been in my family. It runs in my blood. With that being said I've always had a passion for football and when Coach Mike Riley gave me the opportunity to play I took it.

How does coming from such a football family help you get an upper hand on the competition?

I grew up around the game so I got a chance to see different view of the game, a view that most people never get and i like to use it to my advantage. I've also had opportunities to practice at NFL facilities. I was also a ball boy for many years. when I was a ball boy I was always assigned to work with special teams so I grew up catching NFL kickoffs.

What's your favorite accomplishment from high school?

Winning the state championship in  2012, 2013 and 2014.

What’s something you want to improve on before you get to campus?

Route running and blocking are my biggest focuses right now.

What schools did you visit? How does Nebraska's facilities compare to the those schools?

Nebraska, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa and Iowa State for football visits. But I have been to other colleges with my dad and for other sports. No place like Nebraska.
