DiCaprio Bootle is fast on the football field, and he's also fast when it comes to sending in his signature.

Bootle was the first one to have his National Letter of Intent received and approved by Nebraska on signing day. The school announced his signing at 7:03 a.m.

Bootle first emerged as a Husker prospect when he ran a sub-4.4-second 40-yard dash at a satellite camp in Miami. He received an offer the next day and committed in July 2015.

Bootle's also fast on the track. His fastest 100-meter time as a junior was 10.64 seconds, and his fastest 200 time was 21.36 seconds.

Bootle projects to play cornerback on the next level. He's a three-star prospect, according to Rivals, ESPN and Scout. The 247sports composite pegs him as the nation's No. 126 corner.
