Dr. Benjamin Aaron, who operated on President Ronald Reagan when Reagan was shot in 1981, will speak Friday morning in Omaha.
Admission for Aaron's talk is $10. It will take place at 7 a.m. at the Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine St.
Many credit Aaron with saving Reagan's life. Doctors had a hard time stopping bleeding because of the bullet that lodged in Reagan's chest.
The speech has been organized by Patriotic Productions, a local firm that celebrates Americana and honors veterans through exhibits and events, and by recording their stories.
Pick up Friday's World-Herald or check Omaha.com for an interview with Dr. Benjamin Aaron.
