Omaha police have arrested a man they allege is connected to a double homicide in the city in early November.

John C. Jones, 31, was booked Thursday morning on suspicion of being an accessory to a felony in connection with the killings of Stephen Arps, 27, and Johnnesha Brown, 23, according to a police record.

A police spokesman declined to describe Jones’ connection to the case.

Arps and Brown, who were dating, were in her car when they were shot Nov. 4 near 45th Street and Grand Avenue, Brown’s father has said.
