Omaha police said Tuesday that a pair of weekend robberies appear to have been committed by the same man.

In both incidents, witnesses described a suspect wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.

The first robbery occurred about 3 a.m. Saturday at the Walgreens near 50th and Center Streets. Police said a man entered the store, displayed a gun and left with an undetermined amount of money.

The same suspect is thought to have robbed the Walgreens at 90th and Blondo Streets about 6 a.m. Sunday. He also entered the store, displayed a gun and left with an undetermined amount of money.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP (7867) or log on to omahacrimestoppers.net, or by texting OPD and your tip to CRIMES (274637). Tipsters always remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
