Teen sought in 14 robberies turns himself in

Police have arrested 18-year-old Devante Croffer in connection with the robberies of 14 gas stations, convenience stores and other retail outlets.

He turned himself in.

He is a suspect in the following robberies that occurred between Oct. 24 and Nov. 17:

Oct. 24, Bucky’s, 2901 N. 72nd St.; Oct. 25, Mega Saver, 5444 Center St.; Oct. 28, Valero, 3874 Hamilton St.; Oct. 31, Bucky’s 2223 S. 24th St.; Nov. 2, Mega Saver, 4108 Dodge St.; Nov. 2, Mega Saver, 4429 California St. and Valero, 2411 N. 30th St. Nov. 7, Kum & Go, 8242 Maple St.; Nov. 10, Bucky’s, 2223 S. 24th St. and Bucky’s, 107 N. 40th St.; Nov. 15, Mega Saver, 5101 S. 24th St.; Nov. 15, Tobacco Hut, 4865 Center St.; Nov. 16, Wash World, 3010 St. Mary’s Ave.; Nov. 17, Kwik Shop, 15556 Blondo St.

Police say the investigation remains open.
