A fire late Sunday damaged a three-story office building in downtown Omaha.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were called to the Empire State Building, 300 S. 19th St., about 10:30 p.m. and spotted smoke coming from the brick structure as they approached.

Fire crews sounded a second alarm at 10:35 p.m. They declared the blaze under control at 10:52 p.m.

There was no immediate word on the fire's cause or an estimate on the cost of the fire.

However, fire officials believe the blaze may have begun in the kitchen of an Indian cuisine restaurant, Flavors, on the first floor.
