An Ashland, Neb., man was arrested on suspicion of boating while intoxicated Sunday night after his wife was injured while tubing on a private lake in Sarpy County.

David Stander, 45, was booked into the Sarpy County Jail with a blood-alcohol level of .147. Jennifer Stander was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center by helicopter with an injury that was not thought to be life threatening, according to the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's Lt. Mark Trapp said rescue personnel were called to a lake in the area of 252nd Street and Fairview Road about 8 p.m. Deputies determined that Jennifer Stander was among three people being pulled on an inner tube by a jet boat driven by David Stander.

The tube hit a wake and a male rider was thrown from the tube. The male rider then struck the other two riders in the head with his knees. Jennifer Stander, may have been knocked unconscious briefly, Trapp said
