399 out out of a popoulation of 578,000 people. That’s great odds of dying. Good thing there was over 9300 new births in Douglas County this year. From what the news projects the human race will be wiped out. Another fascinating figure: From Sept to end of Nov there was 13,901 test for the flu only 57 came back positive. So almost 14,000 people thought they had the flu. And only 57 left the doctors office having it. That’s 1 flu case every other day in the WHOLE state. Compared 898 cases of the flu reported in 1 week this time last year. We are all being played.

Douglas county has had 399 deaths in 11 months of this virus, in a population of 500,000. in 3rd world poor people of color in a population of 500,000 would face that number every DAY.

So liberals, wear your mask, hide in your basement, shut down businesses, shut down commerce and kill 270 million people.

Eddie it's even more profound than just the nebraska numbers of flu cases in the whole US of A, the CDC (you know that conservative, Trump loving government agency) has only found 496 cases of Flu since the start of Flu season (the 40th week of the year, (27th of September) and we are at week 49) in the whole United States. In a normal year we would have over 500,000 cases of flu by this week and 35 MILLION to 50 MILLION by the time flu season is over. By this time last year 2,000 people would have died due to the flu, this year no one has died from the flu, I repeat no one in the United States has died during this flu season in the USA, doesn't anyone find that strange?

You know, Eddie and scott, you are not convincing anyone with your constant covid-denial. All your “proof” only proves that you frequent conspiracy websites that either twist the meaning of the sources they cite, or just use plain invalid sources. I’m pretty sure that after trudging through a couple of your really long, dull essays that others, like me, don’t even read them anymore. Eddie nor I denied Covid and to construct such a straw man, should be beneath your education level. I use the CDC in one of my posts (so you really think the CDC in a conspiracy website ??)

Another site was "The Lancet" a research publisher even you use in one of you post, but now that they are publishing something you don't agree with, they have turned into a conspiracy website?????.

The third was from the AU news (Australian News is the top news agency in Australia) but again they don't agree with your myopic view so they too are put in the conspiracy of news agencies.

and the 4th was from the "AllAfrician News Organization" an oranization of over 130 Africian news outlets (it is similar to the AP or Reuters in the west). So you will have to explain how they made the conspiracy list.

If you chose to close your eyes and stick you fingers in your ears because you don't have the ability to even look or hear anything that is different than your "dogmatic"(and no that is not where you take you dog to get washed) view, I feel sorry for you and any students of yours. And yes reading research papers is boring but you should try it sometime, spend some time in your library and take an hour or so to read peer reviewed research and try to comprehend what you actually read not what you think you read

And to Ann Judds, according to the CDC website Flu season starts at week 40 (this year was th 27 September and runs till week 12 of next year (2021) that is the end of March ( The CDC uses a 52 week year (novel idea) and uses week 40 as the start of flu season and week 12 as the end of flu season.

Don't you find it odd that in week 9 of the flu season that we have had less than 500 cases of flu and zero deaths in a population of over 330,000,000. And every year of the past 10 years the US would have had over 500,000 cases of flu and about 2,000 deaths by this week. In a normal year we have between 30 Million to 50 million flu cases and 22,000 deaths.

The conclusion of all this is, that you little l , little l and Ann is that you don't want to open your eyes what is happening in the world outside your door because your have been indoctrinated/mislead by the modern US news media or you are the newer, modern form of racist.

Nope sorry Lora, you’re the conspiracy theory side. The facts are 10K maybe 15,000 Covid deaths from Covid and not dying WITH Covid meaning take out the pre-existing conditions and this is a nothing virus. if under 50 or even 65 and healthy. As one medical professional told me who shall remain nameless but is respected in the community that says exposed the unhealthy this is basically a no big deal for the young and healthy the elderly and the unhealthy are going to have a problem with this in many cases. So we need to work more on prevention and stop listening to medical conventional wisdom prevent diseases don’t allow them to just treat diseases after the fact do your research on how much natural medicine you were even just simple things like vitamin D3 zinc elderberry garlic and chicken broth is great for the flu and for Covid but you have to hit it quickly don’t wait for days before you go in. First day I’ll be around taking vitamin C vitamin D three plenty of natural antivirals and anti-inflammatories that will help you survive this virus. do a little research. Average age is still 78 of death and the chances of dying from Covid under 50 if you are healthy 10 times less than dying from the flu.

Here’s the big kicker though when they list 40 to 80,000 flu deaths a year they are flu deaths are not combined with a heart disease patient a diabetic patient a liver or lung transplant patient who happens to get the flu they don’t link them together but for money reasons they do link them together for Covid wake up Wize People this is a fraud and a hoax for those who are healthy do you wanna wear your mask when you want to hibernate you have every right to do that don’t tell the rest of us who have avoided it not doing either in 10 months that we need to keep hiding because we’re not doing it

I don't find it strange. The flu season is December through February, so that's a likely factor in why there have been no flu deaths. Also, with more people wearing masks, keeping their distance and washing their hands to prevent covid, I'm sure that also has the effect of lessening the spread of the flu, as does increased numbers of people getting the flu vaccine. Physicians recommend getting your flu shot in October, so that it is most effective during the height of the flu season, which I already noted is December through February.

Ann Judds. You are correct that it is early on in the flu season but still the data provided was that we should have 500K flu deaths by now and we have under 100 that seems odd. If not conspiratorially where they’re linking flu deaths and putting me as Covid deaths which I wouldn’t be surprised at.

Masks are of no help I wish you people would figure this out they’re not helping anybody unless you’re maybe a hospital worker and you’re wearing the N 95 the rest of them the cases have gone up the amount of hospitalizations and deaths have all gone up with mask wearing we’re not getting those for the last time going out to retail stores or everybody would’ve had it by June it’s just common sense this virus has been around for six months many people had it over last winter.... and we are immune I believe I am one of them.

The other possibility on lower flu deaths right now and I’m just speculating on this but don’t we still have travel from China and US shut down isn’t it restricted still if so I think it’s going to be a light flu season over and we’re just dealing with the last wave hopefully of Covid

I meant to say it’s been around Covid has for over 12 months in US and Nebraska. we were going out and about for six months without masks. And that we had no idea Covid was even around nobody I know had any issues we just thought it was a bad flu season and it is a nasty virus But I just thought it was the bad flu I never get a cough with the flu I got a four-day cough that lasted two weeks but I only felt bad for four days the reason why I believe I had Covid I had a headache that wouldn’t go away that is normally goes away with treatment I take and it was the worst headache that I’ve ever had and the fatigue that they talk about I had massive fatigue that hit me within two hours I went from feeling fine to feeling like I had no energy within two hours but I had all my preventative medicine treatments it took a little longer to work but they worked
