Omaha police will be on the lookout for drunk and impaired drivers as part of a special DUI enforcement operation this weekend.
On Friday and Saturday nights, police will focus on enforcing laws pertaining to underage drinking and impaired driving, according to a statement from the department. The operation is being done in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies and nonprofit organization Project Extra Mile.
Project Extra Mile is helping fund the enforcement operations.
