WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say two people have been fatally injured and four others hurt in a north-central Iowa traffic accident.

The accident was reported around 11:55 p.m. Monday in Webster City. The Iowa State Patrol says a 19-year-old driver from Hopkins, South Carolina, lost control of a sport utility vehicle while exiting U.S. Highway 20. The SUV rolled several times.

The patrol says a 22-year-old woman from Tomah, Wisconsin, was ejected and died at the scene. The SUV driver was pronounced dead at Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City. Three other passengers were treated at the hospital, and a fourth passenger was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

The patrol has not released the names of the six people.
