Free cancer risk assessment doesn't include free CT scan
Methodist Hospital offers veterans a free risk assessment for lung cancer. A low-dose CT scan may be warranted after assessment. There is a $175 fee for the CT scan.
Call 402-354-5858 from Friday through Nov. 11 for the free assessment. It involves questions about smoking history and exposure to cancer-causing agents. CT scans can identify lung cancer at an early stage, before symptoms occur.
