Omaha police said Thursday that they conducted a dozen operations over the holidays aimed at traffic violators that led to a number of arrests and citations.

The crackdowns were held on various dates and at various times throughout the city, police said.

Results of the operations:

— 84 arrests for driving under the influence: 67 first-offense DUIs, 12 second-offense DUIs, five felony-offense DUIs.

— 13 minor-in-possessions cases.

— Six open-containers-of-alcohol cases.

— 19 operating-a-vehicle-during-suspension arrests.

— 10 careless-or-negligent-driving arrests.

— 15 possession-of-marijuana and drug-equipment arrests.

— 529 citations issued, including 154 for speeding.
