Omaha zoo's lion cubs venture outdoors

A lion cub at the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium has a grooming session with a lioness.

Last week's warmup provided a chance for the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium's five African lion cubs to venture outdoors for the first time. The cubs, born Dec. 29, had a chance to stretch their limbs in the outdoor section of the Omaha zoo's Cat Complex. The two male lion cubs are named Taj and Josiri. The three females are Kya, Leela and Zuri.
