LINCOLN — A panel has proposed two nominees to Gov. Dave Heineman to fill a judge position in the 10th Judicial District.
Heineman’s office says the Judicial Nominating Commission nominated Timothy Hoeft of Holdrege and Bryan McQuay of Alma.
Heineman will choose between the two candidates after holding interviews with both.
The new judge will fill a vacancy left by the retirement of Judge Robert A. Ide.
The 10th Judicial District includes Adams, Clay, Fillmore, Franklin, Harlan, Kearney, Nuckolls, Phelps and Webster Counties.
