WATERLOO, Iowa — Authorities say a Waterloo woman was dragged by her vehicle a short distance after she got trapped underneath it.
The Waterloo Police Department said the woman was getting in her car Wednesday morning and reached down to pick something up on the ground with the door open.
Police said the car was in gear and began to back out of the driveway, knocking her down. The left front tire ran over her and she was dragged until the car stopped across the street.
The woman's name has not been released. Whe was taken to a nearby hospital, but a report on her condition was not available. — AP
