Brian, how suitable that as I type this, I am actually LATE for your whole memorial service on 78th & Center, but I am still coming bcuz I HAVE to see you one last time...not the way I want to, but it helps me "get over" this HUGE terrified feeling of the finality of death..I loved you & your personality, but I try not to sugarcoat things too much anymore in life bcuz people get too comfortable hearing the sweetness all the time & I know U & I were always good at keeping it real between us..Cuz I can handle the truth even when it hurts & for the most part so could you....I know you were a misogynist, self proclaimed, a person who hates women, but I really know in your TRUE heart you love & adore us women how can ome not? Thank god the pictures of you a couple of weeks ago were safe, not stolen along with the camera..I was SO attached to that camera that I wouldn't feel right attending your service & not having it with me to do your face justice by taking one last photo of you..I will always be in debt to you for introducing me to DIE ANTWOORD, from South Africa & expanding my global limits...You are goona be "Hard -to-Live-Up-to-Dilly" to me, friend...I will miss our shared gift of funny story-telling & mostly I will miss having a person on my level as far as inteligence & higher establishmentedness (haha) of conversation, one like you that was on my level & could keep up with my mind!! I am the most sad for your family & the women I know that you loved & adored...Gretchen, Mandy Rose & your daughters..they will sorely miss you & I believe timing is everything, but you were called "out" by the Life Umpire way too early in the game!! I love you always, Dilly....*Staci "Pinkie" Rogert 6:45 REALLY LATE now to your service! I love you, friend!
