Ketteler, Jerome B. Nov 8, 1920 - Jun 19, 2015 Age 94. Passed away on June 19, 2015. Jerome was born on November 8, 1920 in Petersburg, NE to Ted and Lucy Ketteler. Jerome had a strong Catholic faith, and was a founding member of St. Pius X Church. He proudly served during WWII in the United States Marine Corps from 1942 to 1945. Later in life, he was fortunate enough to travel to Europe several times, exploring many countries and connecting with his German relatives. His main passion in life however was spending time with his family. He is survived by children, Steven Ketteler of Shawnee, KS, Gary (Linda) Ketteler of Bluffton, SC, Cheryl (Barnie) Chapman of Omaha, Janel (Randy) Carmody of Woodbury, MN, and Sandy (Mike) Hansen of Omaha; grandchildren, Amy (David) Clark, Reid Ketteler, Lindsay Ketteler, Andy Ketteler, Laura Ketteler, Michael (Tara) Ketteler, Emma Carmody, Ben Hansen, Ted Hansen, and Matt Hansen; great grandchildren, Brennan and Mitchell Clark, Gwyn O'Rourke, and Gus Ketteler; and siblings, Theodore Ketteler Jr., Rita Reicks, Rosemary Seier, and Bert Ketteler. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Adelyne Ketteler; parents, Ted and Lucy Ketteler; brothers, Laurence, Richard, LaVern, Gerald, Cyril Ketteler; and daughter-in-law, Marty O'Connor Ketteler. VISITATION begins at 5pm, followed by ROSARY SERVICE at 7pm on Wednesday, June 24, at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries 72nd Street Chapel. FUNERAL MASS at 11am on Thursday at St. Pius X, 6905 Blondo Street, followed by Burial in Calvary Cemetery. JOHN A.
