February started on a high note for the Bellevue Food Pantry as contributions from Two Springs and Fairview elementary schools, Lighthouse Baptist Church, Bellevue Rotary Club and St. Matthew’s parish helped restock the pantry’s shelves.

Specific items of need remain, including spaghetti sauce, canned peas, Hamburger Helper, dry potatoes, peanut butter/jelly, pork and beans, toilet paper, bar soap, canned tomatoes and tomato sauce. There is also a need for brown paper bags.

The Bellevue Food Pantry accepts cash donations to be used for vouchers so families can purchase needed perishable items. Send checks to Bellevue Food Pantry, 1908 Hancock St., Bellevue, NE 68005.
