• The Sump Memorial Library, 222 N. Jefferson St., will host the wrap up event for The Smart Investing @ Your Library from 6 to 7 p.m.

• The Bellevue Public Library will host a Pub Quiz at 7 p.m. at B&B Classic Dogs, 1020 Lincoln Road. This month’s theme is all things movie. Register a team at the library front desk, or call 402-293-3157.

Friday, Nov. 21

• The La Vista Public Library, 9110 Giles Road, will host the Creative Hands program at 9:30 a.m. for children ages 2 to 5, who are not in kindergarten, and their parents or caregivers. Participants will use their hands to discover something new. The theme this week is edible finger paint.

• The Friends of the Library at the Plattsmouth Public Library, 401 Ave. A, will host a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The book sale will run through the weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Most hard cover books will be sold for $1 and paperbacks will be available for 50 cents.

Saturday, Nov. 22

• Church of the Holy Spirit, 1305 Thomas Drive, will host its final Mobile Food Pantry of the year from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. or until supplies last.

People who want to use the Mobile Food Pantry services are invited to visit the church, regardless of religious affiliation, and are asked to bring bags or boxes to carry food home.

• The Papillion Area Historical Society will hold an event at 11 a.m. to affix an official plaque recognizing the John Sautter House, circa 1860, on the National Register of Historic Buildings.

The plaque has been donated in the name of Ernie Rockenback, a longtime member of the PAHS. A reception will follow.

Sunday, Nov. 23

• Soaring Wings Vineyard, 17111 S. 138th St., will host Sunday Acoustic Music from 2 to 5 p.m. There is no cover charge. This weekAdam Richardson will be on stage.

Monday, Nov. 24

• Sump Memorial Library, 222 N. Jefferson St., will host Crafts for Toddlers and Preschoolers at 10:30 p.m. Children may get messy, dress accordingly. This week’s theme is bingo dauber art.

Tuesday, Nov. 25

• The La Vista Public Library, 9110 Giles Road, will host Snoopy’s Thanksgiving Feast and Movie at 10:30 a.m. Families are welcome to watch “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and have a special “Snoopy” snack. Registration is not required.

• The Braided River Quilters will meet Trinity Lutheran Church, 330 W. Halleck St. at 7 p.m.

• Immanuel Lutheran Church, 104 Galvin Road N., will host “Tuesday Night for Thankful People” service at 7 p.m. Pie and fellowship will follow the service.

Wednesday, Nov. 26

• Shadow Lake Towne Center, 72nd Street and Highway 370, will host a tree lighting from 6 to 9 p.m. Santa will also be making an appearance.
