DES MOINES — The Bellevue University men's soccer team had No. 1 Grand View (Iowa) on the ropes in the first round of the NAIA national tournament, but the Vikings scored twice in the last seven minutes pull out the 4-3 win.
Bellevue (9-8-0) took the lead with 35:28 left when Manuel Lira, a junior from Omaha South, scored off an assist from Jacob Cawsey.
Grand View's Brian Lee tied the game with 6:07 remaining. Two minutes later, Matthew Kenton's goal with 3:54 left gave the Vikings (18-2-0) the win.
