Tyler Saladino hit a go-ahead two-run single in the seventh inning, and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox beat the Omaha Storm Chasers 4-3 in a Pacific Coast League game Tuesday at Werner Park.

The loss eliminated Omaha from postseason contention.

The Chasers twice took the lead on home runs. Donnie Dewees hit a two-run homer in the second inning. After the Sky Sox tied the game in the third, Frank Schwindel hit a go-ahead solo shot.

But reliever Richard Lovelady could not hold onto the lead, walking Dylan Moore and giving up a single to Nate Orf before Saladino’s go-ahead single.

Starter Jake Kalish went six innings, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks. He struck out seven.

Omaha and Colorado Springs will play a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
