Pima Community College safety Markell Simmons on Monday will announce his college choice between Nebraska, TCU, Oregon State and Utah, according to his Twitter account.

Simmons' tweet flew a bit under the radar around here, but he had planned on announcing his decision last week. Simmons told the World-Herald he'd be announcing between 5 and 6 p.m. in Arizona — Pima is located in Tucson, while Simmons' family lives in Phoenix — so the announcement should occur between 6 and 7 p.m. in the Midwest.

Simmons is 6-foot-1, 190 pounds and has three years left to play at his next school because he redshirted this season at Pima. He's a consensus three-star and top 100 junior college prospect.
