Nebraska women's golf remains in 15th place after second round of NCAA regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Big Ten champion Kate Smith improved four strokes from Monday, but Nebraska remained in 15th place (tied with New Mexico) after Tuesday’s second round of the NCAA women’s regional at Ohio State’s Scarlet Course.

Heading into Wednesday’s final round, Smith is at 8-over 152 after a 2-over 74. Michaela Vavrova was next for the Huskers at 9-over after a 75. Kirsten Baete and Megan Whittaker had 82s Tuesday and Alice Duan an 83.
