At one point this season, UNO was ranked first in one hockey poll and second in the other.

The Mavericks (18-11-1) now sit at No. 13 in both the USCHO and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine rankings after suffering their third series sweep at Baxter Arena in the last two months.

UNO was 14-3-1 at the holiday break, but it has gone just 4-8 since.

One of its wins, however, came against No. 4 North Dakota (24-5-3), which comes to Omaha this weekend for a key National Collegiate Hockey Conference series for both teams. The Fighting Hawks are in a first-place tie with No. 3 St. Cloud State with two weeks left. UNO is in a three-way tie for fourth.

No. 8 Denver (17-8-5) is in third and is the only other conference team in this week's ratings.

Quinnipiac and Boston College occupy the top two spots in both polls.
