Judy Whitesel died first, then Fred, almost 12 hours later. Both were residents of the Life Care Center of Elkhorn, the Omaha nursing home battling a coronavirus outbreak.Â
In a daily update released Thursday, the Omaha nursing home said five more residents and one more staff member tested positive for the coronavirus. Another resident died overnight.Â
Creighton Cares has been doing several volunteer projects until rotations start again in June.
