It’s one of life’s biggest investments — your home.
So whether you’re looking for heated oversized garages, lighted firepits, zero entryways, chef-inspired kitchens, accent walls, spa-like bathrooms, low level wet bars, freestanding tubs, second floor laundry, space for an elevator or just that fourth bedroom and backyard patio, the Metro Omaha Builders Association and Build Omaha 2026 Spring Parade of Homes is built just for you.
Organized by MOBA and Build Omaha, this year’s tour will feature 77 homes in 61 developments, showcasing a diverse range of architectural styles, price points ($295,000 to $1.6 million) and creative designs. The event takes place from noon to 4 p.m. on April 11, 12, 18 and 19 and provides homebuyers the opportunity to not only see the best in residential construction but also to connect with the builders, remodelers and industry partners on-site. Admission is free.
“It’s the region’s premier showcase of new construction, remodeling and cutting-edge home design shaping our community,” said Jaylene Eilenstine, executive director of MOBA. “The event gives every visitor the opportunity to find inspiration, whether they’re building, buying, remodeling or simply dreaming.”
According to Colleen Newton, executive director of Build Omaha, the event is a reflection of the talent and dedication of our local builders, designers and trades — it’s their work on full display. Visitors can explore the latest trends in architecture, interior design, materials and technology.
“Behind every home is a team of professionals committed to quality,” Newton said. “This event highlights not just homes but the people and partnerships that make our industry strong.”
New this year, attendees will have the opportunity to vote in multiple award categories, recognizing standout homes and exceptional craftsmanship. Categories include everything from Best Ranch and Street Appeal to Most Functional Design and Pick of the Parade. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the Spring Parade of Homes.
Individuals interested in touring homes can download the free Omaha Parade of Homes mobile app. Complimentary guidebooks with details on each home are also available as part of the tour.
“The tour gives visitors an incredible real-time look at how homeowners are living today and where design is headed,” Eilenstine said. “From first-time buyers to seasoned homeowners, the tour is both an educational and inspirational experience, helping people to envision what’s possible in their own homes.”
Visitors are encouraged to tour the homes at their own pace, gather ideas and see firsthand the craftsmanship that defines Omaha’s homebuilding community.
