Everyone loves a parade, especially when it offers so much inspiration in the areas of new home construction, architecture and creative interior designs.
Presented in partnership by the Metro Omaha Builders Association and Build Omaha, the 2025 Spring Parade of Homes marches into the Omaha metro area the weekend of March 29 and 30, then continues on April 5 and 6. All told, the event includes 61 standalone homes to tour across 43 different local neighborhoods and covers a range of price points from $280,000 to more than $2 million.
“The Parade of Homes is a longstanding Omaha tradition that attracts thousands of attendees every year,” said MOBA’s executive director Jaylene Eilenstine. “People love talking with the builders, seeing the latest design trends and learning about innovative new products on the market. Whether you’re building a home, remodeling your current home or looking for your next home, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.”
Active participation in the Spring Parade of Homes also offers its own distinctive set of benefits for members of the builders association.
“It’s good for us because we get to meet prospective new clients, and it’s an opportunity to showcase our work to the public,” said Ryan Krejci, owner of Elkhorn-based Trademark Homes and Ideal Designs Custom Homes, one of three dozen building companies featured in this spring’s show. “We’ve participated ever since we became a member, and we have five homes in the event this spring.”
From noon to 4 p.m. each day of the show, curious homebuyers, homeowners and design buffs can explore as few or as many of the houses as they wish at their own pace. Best of all, admission to the entire event is free.
“This year’s Spring Parade of Homes is even more special because we’ve partnered and are bringing awareness with the 50 Mile March Foundation, a nonprofit that empowers veterans who are facing mental health challenges and homelessness by fostering a community of hope and unwavering support,” Eilenstine said.
The Metro Omaha Builders Association and Build Omaha promote and protect the interests of home builders, remodelers, developers and trade partners who have dedicated themselves to abiding by quality standards and sound business practices.
“The Parade of Homes absolutely helps to boost our local homebuilding economy,” said Colleen Newton, executive director of Build Omaha. “The homes are scattered throughout the Omaha metro area, so it really gives the public an opportunity to check out some of our newest neighborhoods and open their eyes to developments they might not have even known were there. Who knows, you might just discover a new area where you’ll want to live!”
