Dr. Neil Antonson
OrthoNebraska is expanding its team of specialists with the addition of three physicians who bring advanced expertise and a shared commitment to patient-centered care.
Dr. Neil Antonson, Dr. Matthew Tingle and Dr. Paul Watson join OrthoNebraska’s growing team, expanding access and helping meet the region’s increasing demand for sub-specialized orthopedic care. This continued growth allows OrthoNebraska to serve more patients with focused expertise across a wider range of conditions and treatment options.
Dr. Neil Antonson is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee joint replacement, including total and partial replacements, as well as revision surgeries.
Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Dr. Antonson was drawn to OrthoNebraska’s culture of collaboration and focus on personalized, thoughtful care. He believes the best outcomes start with honest communication and a clear understanding of each patient’s goals. His approach combines evidence-based surgical expertise with the pursuit of long-lasting, meaningful results that help patients get back to the activities they love.
Dr. Matthew Tingle
Dr. Antonson sees patients at OrthoNebraska’s Council Bluffs, Norfolk and Oakview Orthopedic Clinic. He specializes in same-day, opioid-sparing joint replacement for eligible patients.
Dr. Matthew Tingle, originally from Kansas City, Missouri, brings a unique perspective shaped by his lifelong passion for athletics. A multi-sport athlete and former lacrosse player and coach at the University of Kansas, Dr. Tingle developed a deep understanding of sports performance and the mechanics of movement, a foundation that led him to specialize in orthopedic sports medicine. His practice focuses on both common and complex knee, shoulder and elbow conditions, from ACL and meniscus injuries to rotator cuff and labrum tears. He performs arthroscopic procedures, ligament repairs and total shoulder replacements.
Dr. Tingle sees patients at OrthoNebraska locations in Aksarben, Council Bluffs and Omaha’s Oakview clinic.
Dr. Paul Watson, practicing Orthopedics in Omaha since 2005, will join OrthoNebraska in November, expanding the team’s expertise in hip arthroscopy and preservation, hip and knee replacements and sports medicine. His addition reflects OrthoNebraska’s continued investment in providing patients across the region with access to comprehensive, multidisciplinary orthopedic care close to home.
Dr. Paul Watson
Dr. Watson sees patients at OrthoNebraska’s Omaha locations, including the Elkhorn, Oakview and West Maple Clinics.
As demand for specialized orthopedic care continues to grow, OrthoNebraska’s expansion ensures patients can access expert treatment close to home. “Patients today are looking for physicians who truly specialize in their condition,” said Dr. Ryan Arnold, orthopedic surgeon. “By expanding our subspecialty teams, we’re able to offer more focused expertise and faster access to the right kind of care, without patients having to travel far to get it.”
Together, these physicians represent OrthoNebraska’s commitment to advanced surgical techniques, evidence-based treatment and individualized care that helps patients move better and live pain-free. Whether helping an athlete return to the field or guiding a patient through joint replacement recovery, OrthoNebraska’s growing team continues to set the standard for orthopedic excellence across Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
