The City Council’s agenda for Monday night includes the following items:
1. Adoption of new rules governing the Bellevue Cemetery. The cemetery has been embroiled in controversy for more than a year concerning the graveside display of foreign flags and commemorative items deemed harmful to the cemetery’s appearance.
2. A public hearing concerning construction of 204 apartment units on a 9.4-acre site on 15th Street south of the Walmart store. The project is opposed by the Bellevue Planning Department but supported by the Bellevue Planning Commission.
3. A $12,000 contract for services with the Greater Bellevue Area Chamber of Commerce, and a similar, $15,000 contract with the Sarpy County Economic Development Corporation, will be voted on.
4. Votes will be taken on condemning and demolishing vacant properties at 2611 Harrison St., and 15006 S. 20th St.
