'This is what I want to do.' Upward Bound helps students chart a course for future

Dalliya Conway, ASRT, RRT, always knew she wanted to go to college. She got that drive from her parents, who urged her and her sister to take their education seriously and succeed as first-generation college students.
Dalliya Conway, ASRT, RRT, credits Nebraska Methodist College’s Upward Bound college preparation program for offering support and opportunities while she was a student at Burke High School in Omaha. She went on to earn her associate degree from Nebraska Methodist College and take a job as a registered respiratory therapist at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center.
While the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic seems to be behind us, we can’t let down our guard completely.
