Nebraska Community Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Amber Burge as the nonprofit's Affiliated Fund Development Coordinator for Southwest Nebraska.
In her new role, Burge will be the primary contact and resource person for NCF's affiliated funds throughout Southwest Nebraska. Together with other NCF staff, Burge will work closely with volunteers to design, deliver and facilitate services, trainings and programs to help affiliated funds grow and achieve their goals.
Before joining the NCF team, Burge spent 30 years in marketing and strategy development for companies including Valmont Industries and State Farm Insurance. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Marketing at Flatwater Bank in Gothenburg. A seasoned community leader, Burge has extensive board experience, including the Gothenburg Improvement Company, the Gothenburg Public School Board of Education, and the Gothenburg YMCA. She is currently board president of L2 for Kids - Gothenburg and a member of the Gothenburg Rotary Club.
Burge earned a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She is a participant in Nebraska LEAD Class 37 and a certified Real Colors facilitator.
