Duck pin bowling is another popular Smash Park Activity. Each game, duckpins are arranged in a triangular formation similar to ten-pin bowling but pins are shorter and lighter, making strikes much harder to achieve. To compensate for the challenge, bowlers are allowed three rolls per frame instead of two.
During the first weeks of operation Smash Park vouched to donate 25% of proceeds to help victims of the Memorial Day tornadoes that ripped through northwest Omaha and eastern Iowa. Following the ribbon cutting Kerri Lockyear (far left) awarded the proceeds in the form of an oversized check.
