Madonna Foundation welcomes new leadership, celebrates longtime leader Nate Driml John Glenn Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals is pleased to announce that Nate Driml assumed the role of vice president of development for the Madonna Foundation on July 1, succeeding John Glenn, who is retiring after 14 years of service with the Foundation. Driml began his career at Madonna nearly four years ago as director of major gifts and later served as associate vice president of development. He brings extensive fundraising experience, along with a personal connection to Madonna's mission, as his daughter is a former Madonna patient. "I am honored to lead a team that is dedicated to living the mission of Madonna as we collectively work toward reigniting patient hope, rebuilding families and regaining lives," Driml said. Glenn was named vice president of development for the Madonna Foundation in June 2013. During his 14 years at Madonna, he helped lead a team of development professionals in raising funds for major initiatives across the organization, including the establishment of Madonna's Omaha Campus, completion of the Lincoln Campus renovation, Madonna's Model System of Care for Long COVID, the Ventilator-Assisted Unit and nursing facility renovation, the Nature Sacred Garden and the Recreational Therapy Unit at the Omaha Campus. Under Glenn's leadership, the Foundation also established fundraising events including Miles for Madonna, Miracle Night for Madonna, Dish & Bloom and Pedal for Madonna, providing additional opportunities for donors to support Madonna's mission and help rebuild the lives of patients. "Madonna's mission is lived out daily by our doctors, nurses, clinicians and staff," Glenn said. "It has been a true honor to help advance Madonna's world-class rehabilitation. Thank you for letting me be part of a truly extraordinary team. I have been blessed to work with some of the best professionals in health care and development, while also making incredible friendships with our team and our wonderful donors. I can confidently say the best is yet to come for Madonna and the patients we are privileged to serve." Glenn will continue to serve Madonna as an executive consultant through Thanksgiving, officially retiring Nov. 26, 2026.
